A Story to Tell

Let us introduce ourselves... We are Stefano and Tiziana, the hosts of La Panchina sul Porto, the brand-new property located in Porto Azzurro.


We’ve been a couple for many years and have always dreamed of living by the sea. In 2021, after a long and careful search, we arrived on the island of our hearts. The idea of sharing this passion was truly inspiring for us, and we wanted to offer hospitality not only to friends but also to those who wish to discover Isola d’Elba for its beauty and enchanting atmosphere. 




We bought a spacious two-story house and transformed it into a home full of character . With deep respect for the land and our own story, we’ve added a touch of elegance, allowing it to blend beautifully with the surrounding Mediterranean landscape





The name “La panchina sul Porto” comes from an old, abandoned bench under the shade of a centuries-old, imposing juniper tree, overlooking the Gulf of Porto Azzurro.

A spacious home designed for your well-being


We designed the house to have a private section on the upper floor and a guest area on the ground floor, offering the opportunity to enjoy the space year-round, including during the quieter periods when the island is less crowded, but perhaps even more charming.



The property is strategically located ias despite being elevated above sea level, it’s just a 15-minute walk from the central square of Porto Azzurro. You can reach it by following a short path through the local vegetation and descending the San Giovanni staircase: an entirely peaceful location for moments of calm and leisure.



A large terraced garden surrounds the house with sea views and is available to guests and their four-legged friend  (please note that the southern part of the garden, by the sea, is not fully enclosed).



Safety

In compliance with the new fire safety regulations (Article 3 ter LG191 15/12/23), each floor of the house is equipped with a  fire extinguisherand every accommodation has a carbon monoxide  detector to ensure maximum safety and peace of mind for our guests.
